Commercial Shipping
Commercial shipping differs from shipping for individuals: goods that repeat, more documents, and a date that carries a commitment to a customer or an exhibition. So we start from the document file and the schedule before booking.
What do we ship for businesses?
- Full containers: for goods that fill a 20-foot or 40-foot container, travelling alone and waiting for nobody.
- Shared containers: for smaller quantities, where you pay for the cubic metres you use.
- Land freight to neighbouring countries: to the Gulf, Jordan and Iraq through the official crossings.
- Air freight: for the urgent, the high-value and samples.
- Equipment and supplies for projects and exhibitions.
What do we handle?
- Reviewing the invoice, the packing list and the certificate of origin before departure.
- Matching the description of the goods to the destination country’s requirements.
- Packing on pallets or in wooden crates, to suit the goods.
- Loading and securing inside the container or truck.
- Following up clearance in the destination country through to delivery.
What we need from you
- The commercial registration, the invoice and the packing list.
- An exact description of the goods: type, quantity, weight and volume.
- The importer’s details in the destination country.
- Any permit or certificate the goods need in the destination country.
For repeat shipments
Those who ship regularly agree a price for the period, a fixed schedule and single follow-up for all their shipments. Send your monthly volumes and destinations to receive a contract offer.
What sets the price?
- Volume in cubic metres for sea and land, and chargeable weight for air.
- The destination and the arrival port or crossing.
- A full or a shared container.
- Special packing and insurance, if requested.
- Destination country charges, which we estimate for you before shipping.
A note
Most delays to commercial shipments come from a missing document or a description that does not match the contents. Half an hour reviewing the file before shipping saves days at the port.
