Temporary Storage
It often happens that the date for leaving the flat comes before the collection or travel date. Temporary storage closes that gap, instead of leaving your furniture with relatives or selling it under pressure.
When do you need it?
- The lease ends before the new home is ready.
- A temporary trip during which you do not want to sell your furniture.
- Renovation or maintenance that needs the place emptied.
- Waiting for an international shipment date.
- Storing seasonal stock for a shop or exhibition.
How do we keep your belongings?
- Full packing before storage, to keep out dust and scratches.
- A written, numbered inventory of every piece on deposit.
- Separate units inside a secured warehouse.
- Furniture raised off the floor, with no direct contact between pieces.
- Handover against the same inventory on collection.
How is the cost worked out?
By the space your belongings occupy and the storage period. Longer periods get a better price, and the cost is stated in the written quote before deposit.
What is not stored?
Flammable materials, food, plants, liquids, and anything that spoils over time or attracts insects.
A tip
Keep a copy of the inventory, and photograph the items on deposit. It makes collection easier and avoids any confusion.
