Ports and Border Crossings
The departure port sets the sailing schedule, and the arrival port sets the charges and clearance time. These are the gateways we work through.
Departure ports in the Kingdom
- Jeddah Islamic Port — the largest Red Sea port, and our main gateway to Africa, Europe and the Mediterranean.
- King Abdulaziz Port, Dammam — the gateway to the Gulf and the East, and the origin of shipments to Asia.
- Yanbu Commercial Port — for goods and projects on the Red Sea.
- King Fahd Industrial Port, Jubail — for industrial goods and equipment.
Airports
- King Abdulaziz International Airport — Jeddah.
- King Khalid International Airport — Riyadh.
- King Fahd International Airport — Dammam.
Land crossings
- Al Batha — to the UAE.
- Nuwaiseeb and Khafji — to Kuwait.
- Salwa — to Qatar.
- King Fahd Causeway — to Bahrain.
- Al Buraimi and the Empty Quarter — to Oman.
- Al Haditha — to Jordan.
- Arar and Jadidat Arar — to Iraq.
Why does the arrival port matter to you?
- It sets the charges: which differ from port to port, even within one country.
- It sets the clearance time: congested ports are slower.
- It decides whether RoRo is possible: not every port is equipped to receive roll-on vehicles.
- It sets the cost of inland transport: the farther the delivery city from the port, the higher it is.
We choose the most suitable for you
Sometimes a more distant port is cheaper overall, because its charges are lower or its lines more regular. We work it out for you rather than sending through the nearest by default.
