What is furniture storage in Jeddah?

Furniture storage is not an empty room locked on your belongings. It is a service that starts in your home: a crew comes to list the pieces, dismantle what needs dismantling and wrap each piece in what suits its material, then moves it and arranges it in a warehouse equipped to keep wood, fabric and appliances. The service ends on the day the furniture is back in your home, assembled as it was.

We are a shipping and moving company first, which is why we know that most damage does not happen inside the warehouse; it happens during dismantling, loading and stacking. So we keep transport and storage with one crew, and responsibility for a piece stays in one place from your front door until it returns there. The general service is described on the storage page.

When do you need to store your furniture in Jeddah?

Householders call us in similar situations: a tenancy that ends before the new home is ready, painting and flooring that need an empty house, or a long trip before which the owner does not want to sell the furniture. Companies call when they relocate or refurbish their premises. In all of these cases storage costs less than selling the furniture and buying again, and is safer than leaving it in an annexe or on a roof.

Situation Usual term What you need from the service
Travel outside Jeddah or outside the Kingdom 3 months to a year or more Tight packing for the long term and a full inventory
A gap between handing over one flat and receiving another A week to 2 months Transport and storage, then delivery to the new address
Renovation, painting or new flooring A few days to 6 weeks Quick clearance, then return and reassembly once work ends
A late finish on a new villa or flat 1 to 6 months Storage with open extension until handover
Surplus or seasonal furniture Open A small space billed monthly
A company relocation or office refurbishment 2 weeks to 3 months Numbering by department and delivery in stages
Waiting to ship the furniture abroad Until the paperwork is complete International-shipping packing from the first time

The furniture warehouse specifications to ask about

Jeddah is a hot coastal city, and furniture there does not tolerate just any place. Chipboard swells if it stays in damp air, fabric picks up a smell, and faux leather cracks in the heat. So it is not enough for a warehouse to be large; what matters is how the furniture is kept inside it. These are the specifications we hold to, and you should ask any provider offering you storage about them.

Specification How it is applied What it prevents
A closed building No storage in open yards or under canopies Sun, rain and dust
Monitoring and controlled entry Only staff enter the storage area, and customers visit by appointment Tampering and lost pieces
Raised off the floor Wooden bases under every piece and every locker Floor damp and cleaning water
Ventilation and moisture extraction Constant air movement inside the warehouse Mould, odours and swollen wood
Cleanliness and pest control Regular cleaning of the aisles and preventive spraying Moths, termites and rodents
Private wooden lockers Each customer’s furniture in a closed locker in their name Mixed belongings and rubbing
Access aisles Enough room to take out one piece without moving the rest Random dragging and scratches

We do not print figures here about floor area or the number of cameras to make the page look stronger. Anyone who wants to see the place before handing over their furniture gets a visit arranged, and that is every customer’s right.

Furniture storage prices in Jeddah

Storage is priced by the month and by the space your furniture takes once dismantled and packed, not by the number of rooms in your home. One three-bedroom flat may take half the space of another with the same count if it holds less furniture. That is why we give you a final figure after seeing photos of the rooms or surveying the home, and these are the starting points for each type.

What you store Monthly price Note
A small space: cartons and a few pieces Starts from SAR 185 Suits surplus furniture and the contents of a small room
Rolled carpets and soft furnishings Starts from SAR 185 Handed over clean and dry
A single large appliance: fridge or washing machine Starts from SAR 230 After drying and wrapping
Furniture of a small office Starts from SAR 415 Desks, chairs and filing cabinets
Furniture of a flat Starts from SAR 600 Bedrooms, sitting room, appliances and cartons
Furniture of one room Set after the survey Falls between the small space and the flat
Furniture of a villa Set on request after a survey The quantity varies a great deal between villas
Dismantling, packing, transport and reassembly Set on request By number of pieces, floor and district

Prices circulating in the market: what we found published in Jeddah runs at about SAR 200 to 1,000 a month for storage space depending on its size, with an advertised minimum between SAR 200 and 300 for small spaces. Flats are quoted at SAR 650 to 850, office furniture at SAR 450 to 1,100, villas at SAR 550 to 1,500, and large appliances at SAR 250 and up. Self-storage units let by their owners without any service are listed between SAR 400 and 4,000 a month. Many pages publish no figure at all, or publish one without saying whether it includes transport and packing.

What changes the price?

Factor Its effect What to do
Volume of furniture Every extra piece takes space and moving time Send photos of each room before agreeing
Storage term Billing is monthly, and a long term needs sturdier packing Give an approximate term and ask about extension
Type of packing Glass, marble and ornaments take more material and time Point out delicate pieces in the first call
Dismantling and reassembly Wardrobes, beds and desks need a fitter Tell us what was built in place to a special size
Collection site The floor, a missing lift and a distant district add effort State the floor, the lift and where the vehicle can stop
Return address Delivery to a farther district or another city has its own charge Send the final address as soon as you know it

How do you cut the cost of storage?

  • Sort before we arrive: sell or donate what you will not use when you are back, since every piece off the list reduces the space.
  • Ask for beds, wardrobes and tables to be dismantled; a dismantled piece takes roughly a third of its room.
  • Fill drawers and small cupboards with light wrapped items instead of extra cartons.
  • Be honest about the term. Someone who says a month and then extends five times loses nothing, but misses out on long-term packing.
  • Keep transport and storage with one provider, so you pay one loading charge, not two.
  • Estimate the volume of your belongings with the cubic metre calculator before you call.

The steps of storing furniture with Home Safe

The service is eight ordered steps, each with a purpose. The survey prevents a wrong space estimate, packing prevents scratches, numbering keeps the pieces in order, and organised transport prevents damage on the road.

  1. Contact: you send photos of the rooms or a list of pieces to 0552803439, with the district, the floor and the expected term.
  2. Survey and price: we list the pieces from the photos or by a home visit, and set the space, the monthly price and the transport charge.
  3. The date: we agree a day that suits you and the building management if the lift needs permission.
  4. Dismantling and packing: the crew dismantles the large pieces and wraps everything in the home, writing a number on every piece.
  5. Inventory: we photograph the pieces and write the inventory list, which you sign with us and keep a copy of.
  6. Transport: the furniture is loaded into a closed vehicle and goes straight to the warehouse.
  7. Arrangement: the furniture goes into its locker raised off the floor, heavy items at the bottom and delicate ones where nothing presses on them.
  8. Return: you tell us the collection date, and we take the furniture out, move it and reassemble it at the address you name.

Listing the contents of the home before storage

The survey is what everything after it rests on: the size of the vehicle, the number of workers, the amount of cardboard and the size of the locker. Without it you either pay for more space than you need, or the crew arrives with a vehicle that is too small and one trip becomes two. We do not ask you for a complicated list. It is enough to write: master bedroom, children’s room, sitting room, dining set, fridge, washing machine, twenty cartons.

What we list Why Example
Number and type of rooms To estimate the work and the space A 3-bedroom flat is not a two-storey villa
Pieces to be dismantled To prepare the fitter and the tools Bed, sliding-door wardrobe, dining table
Delicate pieces To prepare special packing Mirrors, marble, glass, paintings
Appliances To decide the drying and how they are carried Fridge, washing machine, television, air conditioner
Cartons To estimate the number and the sizes Kitchen, clothes, books, toys
The site To choose the vehicle and the workers Fourth floor with no lift, narrow street

Packing furniture before storage

Packing for storage differs from packing for a move across town. A piece that travels for an hour only needs protection from rubbing, while one that will sit for months needs a cover that keeps dust out without trapping moisture, protected corners because something may be leant against them, and fittings kept safe so that not a single screw goes missing. That is why we dismantle and pack in your home, before the piece leaves its place.

Packing furniture before storage in Jeddah
Piece How it is packed What we watch for
Sofas and majlis seating A fabric cover or blanket, then a light turn of plastic film The film is not pulled tight on the fabric, so it leaves no mark in the foam
Bedrooms and wardrobes Dismantled, then corrugated cardboard on the panels and corner guards Panels are numbered in assembly order
Tables and dining sets A blanket on the top with cardboard over it Glass and marble are separated and wrapped on their own
Glass and mirrors Layers of foam and cardboard and a warning label Stored upright, never flat
Electrical appliances Dried, then doors secured and an outer carton The fridge and washing machine stay upright
Carpets and curtains Rolled after cleaning and drying, then a breathable cover A carpet is never folded, so its weave does not break
Ornaments and paintings Wrapped singly, each in its own carton Never placed in general cartons without a mark

The screws, hinges and keys of each piece go into a bag marked with its number, taped to the piece or gathered in one fittings carton. This small step is what makes reassembling a bedroom six months later an hour’s work instead of half a day’s. For those who want to prepare their own cartons before we arrive, there is a detailed explanation in the packing guide.

What can be stored?

We store everything in a home or an office in the way of furniture, appliances and belongings, whether it is one room or a whole house. The difference between one type and another lies in the preparation, not in whether it is accepted. The table shows what we do with each type and what we ask of you before moving day.

Type What we do What we ask of you
Bedrooms Dismantle the bed and wardrobe and number the panels Empty the wardrobes and drawers
Sofas, majlis sets and floor seating Cover and carry without dragging on the floor A surface clean before wrapping
Dining sets, tables and bookcases Separate glass tops and protect the corners Pack books and crockery in cartons
Household appliances Wrap and store upright on a base Unplug, empty and dry a day before
Office furniture Number by department and employee Sort the files and lock the cabinets
Outdoor furniture and children’s play equipment Clean off the soil, then wrap Empty water and sand trays
Cartons and suitcases Stack by weight, not by size Write the room name on every carton

What is not stored with furniture?

Some things do not enter the warehouse however well they are wrapped. Some bring insects to your furniture and other people’s, some are a hazard in a closed place, and some are too valuable to be left away from you. We open any carton whose contents we doubt in front of you before loading, to protect everyone.

Category Examples Reason
Food Kitchen supplies, open spices, dates, animal feed It spoils and attracts insects and rodents
Flammable materials Gas cylinders, fuel, paint, solvents, lighters A fire hazard in a closed place
Valuables and official papers Cash, gold, jewellery, passports, title deeds, certificates They belong with you or in a bank safe
Living things Plants, birds, ornamental fish They do not survive in a warehouse
Chemicals and medicines Pesticides, concentrated cleaners, fertilisers Leaks and odours that cling to fabric
Open liquids Oils, loose perfumes, water left in appliances They spill onto wood and cardboard
Items banned by law Weapons, ammunition, anything the law prohibits Not accepted for storage or transport

Protecting furniture from humidity, heat and dust

What the people of Jeddah ask us about most is humidity. The question is well placed: sea air reaches every district and is at its heaviest in late summer. Humidity does not ruin furniture in a day. It works slowly: a smell in the sofa, then spots on the back of the wardrobe, then swelling along the edges of the chipboard. The owner only discovers it on the day the cover comes off.

Protecting furniture from humidity, heat and dust in Jeddah

Neither the warehouse alone nor the packing alone protects against that. A good place with tight wrapping on a wet piece spoils it, and good wrapping in a damp, unventilated place does not hold. So we work on both together.

Threat What it does to furniture How we prevent it
Floor damp Rises into wooden legs and sofa bases Furniture raised off the floor on wooden bases
Humid air Mould, odours and swelling in chipboard Ventilation and moisture extraction inside the warehouse
Trapped moisture Spots under tight plastic film Breathable covers, and no piece is wrapped before it is dry
Heat Cracked faux leather and loosened glue A closed building away from direct sun
Dust Clings to fabric and gets into appliances Dust covers and regular cleaning of the aisles
Insects Moths in wool, termites in wood Preventive spraying, and no food or dirty used cardboard

Part of the protection is yours. Do not hand over a carpet washed yesterday, a fridge with water in its tray, or a mattress with a damp patch. A piece that goes in dry and clean comes out as it went in.

Short-term or long-term storage?

We ask about the term in the first call because the preparation changes with it, not because the monthly price differs. Furniture staying two weeks during painting is wrapped against scratches and dust and placed near the exit. Furniture staying a year is wrapped to breathe, has more of its pieces dismantled, and is arranged deeper in, because nobody will need it soon.

Item Short term Long term
Term A few days to 6 weeks 3 months to a year or more
Reasons Painting, maintenance, a gap between two homes Travel, a late finish, furniture not in use
Packing Protection from scratches and dust Breathable covers and full corner protection
Dismantling Only what will not pass through the door Everything that comes apart, to ease the load on the joints
Appliances Unplugged and dried Fully dried, with the fridge door left ajar
Place in the warehouse Near the exit Deeper in, with an aisle for access

Storing furniture during travel and during renovation

During travel: leaving furniture in a locked flat for months looks like the easiest answer, but it means rent paid on a home nobody lives in, air conditioners switched off and dust building up. For someone giving up a rented flat before travelling who does not want to sell the furniture, storage is almost the only answer. Before you travel, sort your belongings into three: what you take with you, what you sell or donate, and what you store. While you are away you keep the order number and your copy of the inventory, and tell us about an extension or your return date by message. Once you are back you send the delivery address and we prepare the removal and transport without a rush.

During renovation and painting: a drop of paint on a pale sofa, gypsum dust between the threads of a carpet, a worker dragging the wardrobe over new tiles: this is damage we see after every renovation where the furniture stayed in. Taking the furniture out gives the workers an empty house, so they finish sooner. We clear the rooms before work begins and keep the furniture until the paint dries, the flooring is laid and the plumbing and electrics are finished, then bring it back and reassemble it. If the renovation is done in stages, we return each floor’s furniture when it is ready.

Storing flat and villa furniture in Jeddah

A flat and a villa differ in quantity, and in the way of working too. In a flat the challenge is getting out: a narrow corridor, a small lift, neighbours and a parking spot far from the entrance. In a villa the challenge is organisation: several sitting rooms, guest rooms, garden furniture, carpets, curtains and ornaments, all of which must return to their own floor and room.

Item Flat Villa
Usual quantity Bedrooms, sitting room, dining set and basic appliances Sitting rooms, guest rooms, outdoor furniture and ornaments
The challenge Corridors, the lift and the parking spot The number of pieces and look-alike cartons
Numbering method By room By floor, then room
Transport Usually one trip More than one trip or more than one vehicle
Monthly price Starts from SAR 600 Set on request after a survey

In both cases we divide the furniture into clear groups: master bedroom, children’s rooms, majlis, living room, kitchen, appliances, cartons, fragile items. This division saves more time at the return than it takes at collection.

Storing office and company furniture in Jeddah

A company that relocates, redecorates or closes a branch for a while cannot leave its desks and equipment in the corridors. We store desks, chairs, meeting tables, filing cabinets, screens and printers, from SAR 415 a month for the furniture of a small office. Accuracy matters more here than in homes, because a missing cable or a file in the wrong carton costs an employee a whole day after the return.

So we number by department and then by employee, gather each device’s cables and accessories in a bag marked with its number, and close filing cabinets as they are if the company wishes, sealing them with tape. We prefer dismantling and transport after office hours or at the weekend, so that work does not stop. Stock from commercial stores is a different service, described on the commercial shipping page.

Luxury furniture and delicate pieces

An inlaid majlis set, a marble table, an imported bedroom, a large mirror, an original painting and a piece made to measure for your home are not handled like the rest of the furniture. Before wrapping any of them we identify its weak points: the corners, slender legs, a glossy surface, raised carving and the parts that come apart. Then we choose its material and its place in the vehicle and in the locker, and nothing is put on top of it.

Tell us about these pieces when you call and do not leave them for loading day, since one of them may need a wooden crate prepared a day earlier. We photograph them from every side before wrapping, and their value is written in the inventory list if you want to insure them.

Inventory and numbering of stored furniture

After six months you will not remember how many cartons you handed over, or whether the table had four chairs or six. The inventory list remembers for you. It is not a formality; it is the document that defines what we received and what we return, and with it you can ask for one particular piece while you are in another country.

Inventory and numbering of stored furniture in Jeddah
  • A number tag on every piece: the order number, then the piece number, on a label that does not fall off with time. The parts of a dismantled piece carry the same number with a letter.
  • A photographed inventory list: each line has the number, the name of the piece, the room it came from and its condition, with a photo of the important pieces before wrapping.
  • Condition notes: an old scratch, a broken corner or an appliance that does not work is written down at collection, so there is no dispute at handover.
  • A copy for the customer: you sign the list with us and take your copy on paper or by WhatsApp.
  • Checking at return: the pieces are checked against the list line by line in front of you before the crew leaves.

How do we arrange furniture inside the warehouse?

A well-wrapped piece is still damaged if something it cannot bear is put on it. So we arrange by fixed rules: heavy and rigid items at the bottom, nothing on a sofa, glass and mirrors upright on a protected side, cartons stacked by weight rather than size, and mattresses upright or flat without bending. The furniture of a whole home is arranged by rooms, so the bedroom pieces stay side by side and the kitchen cartons in one spot.

This is the difference between storing furniture and storing goods. Goods are cartons of one size stacked on pallets up to the ceiling. Furniture is wood, fabric, glass, marble, foam and leather in sizes that never match, and any pressure in the wrong place leaves a mark that does not go away. Besides, the bed must come back fit to assemble, the wardrobe with all its hinges, and the sofa with its shape.

Organised storage versus random storage

Some people turn to the annexe, the roof, the basement, a room at a relative’s or a rented yard to save the storage fee. Those places were never equipped to resist dust, humidity and insects, and nobody watches them. The result shows after some months: fabric that has faded, broken corners, a smell that will not leave, and a fittings carton nobody can find. The cost of repair and replacement often exceeds what proper storage would have cost.

Element Organised storage Random storage
The place A closed, monitored warehouse An annexe, a roof or a yard
Packing By the material and delicacy of the piece One material, or not enough wrapping
Arrangement By weight, room and fragility Quick stacking to save space
Contact with the floor Raised on bases Directly on tiles or soil
Inventory A photographed list and a number per piece Relying on memory
Collection Easy, because the pieces are known and grouped Long sorting and a hunt for the fittings
Risk of damage Low High, from pressure, rubbing and humidity

Guarantee, liability and access to your furniture

Trust in storage comes from clear paperwork, not from the phrase “your furniture is safe”. Before the furniture leaves your home you hold three things: the signed inventory list, the monthly price and what it covers, and the storage term and how it is extended. Our responsibility starts the moment the list is signed and ends when you sign for receipt, and everything in between is on us according to the condition of each piece as written.

Anyone storing high-value pieces can add insurance on the declared value, with a premium set on request. The types of cover are explained on the cargo insurance page. We also advise you to photograph your important pieces with your own phone and keep the messages of the agreement.

Your furniture stays within reach throughout the term. If you need a piece or a carton you send its number from your copy, and we get it ready at an agreed time for you to collect or we deliver it. If you want to add new pieces we add them to the same list. An extension only takes a notice before the term ends.

Moving and storing furniture in Jeddah in one run

Someone who rents a warehouse from one party and a removal van from another co-ordinates two dates and two crews alone. If a piece arrives scratched, the mover says it was scratched in the warehouse, and the warehouse owner says it arrived that way. In one run a single crew collects from your home and delivers to your home, and one inventory list governs the whole way.

Moving and storing furniture in Jeddah in one run
  • Collection from home: the crew arrives with tools and materials, and dismantles, wraps, numbers and loads in one visit.
  • Storage until your date: the furniture stays in its locker for a week or a year and is not moved from place to place during the term.
  • Delivery or shipping later: it returns to the same address, or to your new home in Jeddah, or leaves for another city or country.

We load the vehicle in the reverse of the order of entry into the locker: what will sit deepest is loaded last so it comes off first. That way each piece is lifted only twice, once at loading and once at unloading, and every extra lift is a chance of a scratch. Collection and delivery at the address are explained on the door to door page.

Storing furniture in Jeddah, then shipping it later

Many of those who store with us do not bring the furniture back to Jeddah. An employee whose contract has ended and who is waiting for a new country’s visa, a family that has gone ahead of its furniture to Riyadh, Dubai, Amman or Cairo until it finds a home, and a scholarship student who does not yet know the address. They need a warehouse from which the furniture goes straight to the truck or the container, with no third move and no crew wrapping it again.

Tell us about the possibility of shipping in the first call, since packing for storage within Jeddah is lighter than packing for a long road trip or a sea container. If we know the destination we pack to shipping standard the first time and write the inventory list in the form customs ask for, so on shipping day it becomes a packing list. The service is detailed on the furniture shipping page, and the destinations we serve from the city in the article International shipping companies in Jeddah.

Collecting furniture from the districts of Jeddah

Working conditions in Jeddah differ from district to district. A residential tower on the Corniche needs permission from its management and a booking for the service lift. An old building in the city centre has no lift and its street does not admit a large vehicle. A villa in Obhur has room in front for a vehicle of any size. So we ask you about the floor, the lift and the parking spot before we ask about the number of rooms.

Area Districts we collect from What we arrange in advance
North Jeddah Obhur Al-Shamaliyah and Al-Janubiyah, Al-Shati, Al-Mohammadiyah, Al-Naeem, Al-Basateen, Al-Zahra Entry permits for residential compounds and tower lift bookings
Central Jeddah Al-Rawdah, Al-Salamah, Al-Khalidiyah, Al-Andalus, Al-Hamra, Al-Faisaliyah, Al-Aziziyah A time that suits the building management and a nearby parking spot
East Jeddah Al-Safa, Al-Marwah, Al-Rabwah, Al-Naseem, Al-Samer, Al-Ajwad, Al-Manar A medium vehicle for the inner streets
North-east Jeddah Al-Hamdaniyah, Al-Salhiyah, Al-Riyadh, Al-Falah An early slot because of the distance
South Jeddah Al-Balad, Al-Thaghr, Al-Jamiah, Al-Sanabel, Al-Ajaweed, Al-Khumrah A small vehicle for the alleys and carriers for floors with no lift
Outside Jeddah Dhahban, Thuwal, Bahrah, Makkah By prior arrangement, with the transport charge set on request

If your home has a large piece on a high floor that will not pass down the stairs, or a street only a small vehicle can enter, tell us before the set day so we prepare the lowering method and the number of workers.

A preparation checklist and tips before the storage crew arrives

We do not ask you to carry anything. What is needed is that you separate your personal belongings from what will be stored and get the appliances ready, so the crew works without stopping and nothing is moved by mistake.

  • Empty the wardrobes and drawers, and take out official papers, jewellery and cash and keep them with you.
  • Unplug the fridge a day before, clean it and leave its door open until it dries, and drain the washing machine.
  • Put each television’s remote and cables in a bag and write its name on it.
  • Write the room and the type of contents on your cartons: kitchen, clothes, books, fragile.
  • Mark what will not be stored, or gather it in one room that is kept shut.
  • Tell the crew about any piece already broken or wobbly, so it is written in the condition notes.
  • Photograph the important pieces with your phone before wrapping, especially glass, ornaments and appliances.
  • Agree with the building caretaker or the compound management on the lift time and where the vehicle will stop.

Common mistakes when storing furniture

Most of the damage we see after poor storage comes from haste on a single day, the day of packing and listing. These seven mistakes recur, and each is avoided with a simple step.

Mistake Its result The right way
Storing appliances with water in them Mould, odour and rust inside Empty and dry at least a day before
Cartons with nothing written on them Hours of searching at collection The room and the contents on every carton
Putting heavy items on delicate ones Breakage, scratches and sagging foam Arrange by weight and material
Wrapping a piece in plastic while it is damp Spots and mould under the wrap Dry it, then use a breathable cover
Leaving screws and keys loose A piece that cannot be assembled on return A numbered bag for every piece
Storing documents and gold with the furniture Worry throughout the term and a sudden need for them Keep them with you or in a bank safe
Choosing the cheapest price without asking An open place, or stacking with no inventory Compare the place, the packing and the inventory with the price

How do you choose a furniture storage company in Jeddah?

Advertised prices are close to one another, and the real difference shows on the day you take your furniture back. Before you sign, ask about five things and see whether you get a specific answer or general talk.

Sign What reassures you What should worry you
Commercial registration A number that is given to you and can be checked A mobile number with no business name
The place A closed warehouse you can arrange to visit A standing excuse for not showing the place
Inventory A signed, photographed list and a copy for you “Do not worry, it is all kept”
Price A clear monthly rate, with transport and packing as known items One figure, then extras at collection
The crew Those who dismantle and pack are those who store and return A mover from one party and a warehouse from another
Access You take a piece by appointment and extend by notice No collection before the term ends

Why Home Safe for storing your furniture in Jeddah?

We wrote all this detail because whoever looks for storage is usually in a hurry: a trip coming up, a renovation already begun, or a flat to be handed over at the end of the month. Someone in that position needs to know what will happen to the furniture step by step, not a general promise that the warehouses are safe.

Frequently asked questions about furniture storage in Jeddah

How much does furniture storage cost in Jeddah?

It starts from SAR 185 a month for a small space that takes cartons and a few pieces, from SAR 230 for a single large appliance, from SAR 415 for the furniture of a small office, and from SAR 600 for the furniture of a flat. Villa furniture and the charges for transport, dismantling and packing are set on request after a survey, because they follow the number of pieces, the floor and how far the district is. For enquiries call 0552803439.

What is the shortest period I can store my furniture for?

We do not insist on a long term. We take furniture in for a few days while the house is painted or flooring is laid, and for months while you are abroad. Billing is monthly by default, and a period shorter than a month is priced by agreement at booking, so you do not pay for days you did not use.

Is my furniture put together with other customers’ furniture?

It is not mixed. Each customer’s furniture goes into a private wooden locker that is closed on it, or into an area marked in the customer’s name when the quantity is larger than a locker. Every piece carries a tag with the order number and the piece number, so nothing is moved out of its place.

Do you pack the furniture before storing it?

Yes, and packing is part of the service, not a token extra. We dismantle large pieces in the home, wrap wood in corrugated cardboard, cover fabric with a sheet that keeps dust out without trapping moisture, and wrap glass in layers with a “fragile” label. The screws of each piece are kept in a bag marked with its number.

Does the service include moving the furniture from home to the warehouse?

Yes. The crew that dismantles and packs is the crew that loads, transports and arranges in the warehouse, so you do not need a removal firm and a storage firm. At the end of the term we bring the furniture back to your home and reassemble it, or deliver it to another address you name.

Can the furniture of a whole flat or a villa be stored?

Yes. A flat’s furniture is listed room by room and usually moved in one trip. A villa’s furniture is divided by floor and room so that everything returns to its place, and its price is set after a survey because the quantity varies a great deal from one villa to another.

Do you store electrical appliances?

Yes, provided they are clean and dry. The fridge is unplugged, emptied and left open until the inside dries before moving day, and the washing machine is drained and its drum secured. We then wrap the appliance and stand it upright on a base raised off the floor.

What do you not accept in the warehouse?

Food and anything perishable; gas cylinders, fuel, paint and flammable materials; cash, gold, jewellery and official documents; plants and animals; medicines and chemicals. These either attract insects, endanger your furniture and other people’s, or belong with you rather than in a warehouse.

How do you protect furniture from Jeddah’s humidity?

With three things together. The furniture is raised off the floor on wooden bases, so it never touches the tiles. The warehouse is closed, with ventilation and moisture extraction. And the covers we use keep dust out while letting wood and fabric breathe, because tight plastic on a piece that is not dry traps the moisture inside it.

Can I take one piece of my furniture during the storage term?

Yes, by prior appointment. You give us the piece number from your copy of the inventory list, and we get it ready for you to collect or deliver it to your address. Because the furniture is arranged by numbers and rooms, we reach the piece without turning the rest over.

Can the storage term be extended?

Yes. A late finish on a new home and a postponed return from travel are both ordinary, so it is enough to tell us before the agreed term ends. Billing continues at the same monthly price as long as the quantity has not changed.

Can the furniture be delivered to a different address from the one it left?

Yes. Many of our customers store from one flat and take delivery in another, in Jeddah or in a second city. Just send the new address, the floor and whether there is a lift two days before the delivery date, so we prepare the right vehicle and crew.

Is my furniture insured inside the warehouse?

Our responsibility for the furniture is defined by the inventory list we sign with you at collection, which is the reference at handover. For those storing high-value pieces, insurance on the declared value can be added, and its premium is set on request.

Can the furniture be shipped abroad after it has been stored?

Yes, and that is what sets storage with a shipping company apart. The furniture stays in the warehouse until your papers or your new home are ready, then goes straight to the truck or the container. Tell us from the start so we pack it to international-shipping standard the first time.

How do I book furniture storage?

Call or WhatsApp us on 0552803439 from 7 am to 11 pm, and send photos of the rooms or a list of the pieces, the district and the floor, and the expected term. We reply with the price, then set the dismantling and moving day. It is best to call two days ahead if there is a lot of furniture.
